Kaumātua Energy is a New Zealand community power company dedicated to making energy affordable and sustainable. Based in Northland, we provide electricity with a focus on giving back to kaumātua (elders). Every customer over 65 receives a 10% discount today, with a goal to increase this to 30% as our solar farms expand.

We generate clean energy by installing solar on public buildings, sports clubs, and business rooftops, keeping costs down and benefits local. Excess solar is sold back to the grid, and rebates are passed directly to our customers. Businesses that partner with us also enjoy lower energy costs and a share of the solar savings.
